Portable Flow Meters |

 Field engineers now have an easy way to measure and verify flow of installed instruments.
Companies spend time and money to verify that installed equipment in the field is working properly. In most cases, the equipment has to be removed from
service and sent to a metrology lab or an in house testing center for verification. Removal of installed equipment takes time and in some cases requires that
the process be shut down for removal and in some cases stay down until the device under test is returned from testing.
In an effort to help companies save time and money Alicat has developed the 9Vdc battery pack
attachment to convert most Alicat flow meters and pressure gages into internally powered and easily portable measurement instruments.
The Alicat battery pack is able to power any Alicat flow meter with a standard 9V battery
Add Alicat's Industrial Carrying Case for a rugged, field ready flow verification device
or transfer standard.
Alicat portable flow meters allow the user to quickly and effectively:
- Verify proper operation of equipment, including other manufacturer’s mass flow meters and mass flow controllers.
- Maintain equipment settings as components within the system wear down.
- Search for leaks in the system utilizing the pressure reading.
- Install equipment and perform initial tuning and adjustments.
- Perform periodic system checks for quality control.

- Alternate STPs to simplify comparisons to other flow devices
- High accuracy calibration of +/-0.4% of reading + 0.2% of full scale
- Gas mixture calibrations
- Integrated totalizer for tests that require long term averaging
