| | | | | Mass Flow Measurement & Control: M,MC and MCR Series
Using a mass flow meter or mass flow controller is recommended in most applications. These devices measure
and display temperature, absolute pressure, and volumetric flow rate in addition to the mass flow rate.
These devices are appropriate for applications where the following conditions exist:
1) The operating pressure is less than 10 BARG.
2) The operating temperature of the gas is between -10°C and 50°C.
3) The gas is clean (20 - 50 micron filter), non-corrosive and dry.
4) Avoid snap action valves as they may damage a unit with a full-scale range of less than 5SLPM (a dampener upstream solves this issue).
5) The pressure available is greater than the pressure drop associated with the device at the required flow rate.
Pressure Measurement & Control: P and PC Series
Using a mass flow meter or controller is recommended in most applications. These devices measure
and display temperature, absolute pressure, and volumetric flow rate in addition to the mass flow rate.
These devices are appropriate for applications where the following conditions exist:
1) The gas is clean, dry and non-corrosive.
2) The flow requirements don.t exceed the capacity of the device.
3) The pressure available is greater than the pressure drop associated with the device at the required flow rate.
